Farm Machinery, Tractors, Parts, and Implement Shortages Mount on Supply Chain Disruptions, Demand (This Nightmare Has No End In Sight.)

The tractor business has become an absolute mess of epic proportions and there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

Farm equipment and machinery manufacturers faced labor and raw material shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic, and that shortage is extending into the 2021 crop year --- and could go into 2022.

Many farmers report months-long wait times to get the tractors, implements, and parts they need to conduct business.  Machinery companies are confirming the supply logjams and claim there's absolutely no end in sight.

Current grain market prosperity isn’t helping, as new machinery orders are as high as they’ve been in decades.  By some measures the highest in almost 30 years.

In some cases, new tractor orders are being delayed by as long as eight months, according to some dealers, as North American tractor supplies shrink to their tightest levels in almost 20 years.

The logjams have some global manufacturers looking to shift production from different parts of the world to the U.S. to meet continued strong demand.  Right now --- nothing is in place to solve this tractor shortage issue.
