Low Tractor Inventory Expected Into 2022 As Microchip Shortage Worsens Yet Again --- Buy Today!

The low tractor inventory across the U.S. is expected to last into 2022 as the global shortage of computer chips worsens yet again, the AP reported.

According to Bryce Meehan, General Manager, Team Tractor Ranch, "The chip shortage was beginning to improve earlier in the summer. Now again we are seeing microchip plants closing and worsening the tractor shortage."

The prospects for new sales for the rest of the year continue to dim with the reality that the tight tractor inventory will last well into 2022, possibly 2023.

Tractor manufacturers are temporarily closing factories as the chip shortage continues, further limiting inventory.  Dealers have less and less inventory on their lots.

"Team Tractor Ranch is one of the only dealers with a decent amount of inventory left in the entire United States but it is dwindling fast," according to tractor indusrty expert Ana Dorfman.
