Some facts about Daedong Industry and Diesel Engines
Today, we will talk about Kioti Engines and Daedong Industry. KIOTI tractors are equipped with high-performance, fuel-efficient Daedong® diesel engines. Through more than 65 years of continual innovation, the Daedong engine line has been refined, enhanced and expanded upon, and is now recognized as one of the finest in the world. Today, Daedong Industrial Co. proudly produces high-quality diesel engines ranging from 24.5-73 horsepower, all of which are built-in line with EPA, EC, CARB, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
Some facts about Daedong:
1. Daedong Metals was established in 1947 as a Daedong Industry and is one of the major casting companies in Korea.
2. It mass-produced cylinder blocks and cylinder heads for diesel engines for the first time in Korea, and it can even manufacture hydraulic valves for constructions and highly precise casting products. Its major products are gray cast iron, cast nodular iron, and CV cast iron, and the annual production capacity is 40,000 tons.
3. It has the latest technology in cylinder heads for cars, and to manufacture cylinder blocks for cars and farming and construction equipment, it has all the necessary facilities for modeling and shaping. Other than the cylinder heads for cars, it can also manufacture items with FC, FCD, CGI materials, liquidation, solidification, casting, and molding techniques.
4. Daedong Industrial Company, LTD. adds another milestone to its history with the 2013 launch of the new Daedong® Tier 4 ECO Common Rail Diesel Engine. The newest engine is equipped to meet the requirements of Tier 4 compliance, which requires off-road diesel engines to reduce emissions into the environment. The Daedong® Tier 4 ECO Engine was previewed at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky., in February 2013.
