Over 60% of dealers surveyed expect demand for used equipment to increase, with about half anticipating slight price increases in the used market.

However, uncertainty around tariff policies is causing hesitation among buyers, with some farmers delaying purchases, especially those who have recently upgraded and can wait. Dealers face a tricky balance between stocking inventory before prices rise and avoiding excess unsold equipment.

Overall, tariffs are driving more interest and value in used tractors, as rising new equipment costs push buyers toward the secondary market amid ongoing trade uncertainties.
