What Voids a KIOTI Tractor Warranty
A KIOTI tractor warranty can be voided under several conditions that typically involve misuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized repairs.
Key reasons that void the warranty include operating the tractor contrary to the owner’s manual instructions, physical abuse, or misuse of the product. Repairs, modifications, or parts replacements done by anyone other than an authorized KIOTI dealer will also void the warranty. Using non-KIOTI brand parts, especially on critical components or attachments, nullifies warranty coverage.
Inadequate or skipped routine maintenance as prescribed in the operator’s manual can lead to denial of warranty claims, especially if failure results from that neglect. Damage caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, fire, or natural disasters such as floods or storms is not covered and voids the warranty for those incidents. Normal wear items such as bushings, blades, belts, tires, batteries, lubricants, filters, and similar consumables are excluded from warranty coverage.
Other voiding factors include altering the tractor without KIOTI’s written approval, misuse such as using starting fluid or ether to start the engine, and selling the tractor at auction, as a salvage vehicle, or as scrap. If the tractor is subjected to corrosion or damage from exposure to saltwater, chemicals, or corrosive environments, warranty coverage may not apply.
To maintain warranty coverage, owners must follow maintenance schedules, avoid unauthorized repairs or modifications, use genuine KIOTI parts, and operate the tractor according to prescribed guidelines.
