Diesel fuel can gel and clog filters in freezing temperatures. To prevent this, switch to winter-grade diesel and use anti-gel additives to keep fuel flowing smoothly.

Keep your fuel tank full to reduce condensation and water buildup, which can damage fuel systems. Topping off after use also limits moisture accumulation. Adding a fuel stabilizer before storage helps prevent fuel degradation and oxidation.

Regularly drain water from fuel filters and separators during winter to avoid ice blockages. Let your engine warm up gradually before heavy use to ensure proper fuel circulation and reduce engine wear.
